Executive, commercially literate and risk-aware guidance for German Mittelstand leadership teams.

Four decision gates
AI programmes move faster when these questions are answered before technology choices harden into commitments.
Classify the use case, data, role, risk and required human oversight.
Separate capacity released from value actually realized in cost, margin or throughput.
Design roles, trust, incentives and controls alongside the workflow.
Bring decision authority, real processes, practical baselines and known constraints.
Thorsten Keller's moat
Thorsten Keller connects capabilities normally split across advisors, coaches, architects and delivery teams.
AI priorities are judged by margin, cash, capacity and strategic relevance — not novelty.
Recommendations stay grounded in real workflows, systems, data and human controls.
Leadership alignment, trust, role clarity and adoption are treated as operating requirements.
The roadmap can move into governed digital-labour workflows instead of ending as a presentation.
The business case, operating model, technology and human change stay connected from decision to measurable execution.
FAQ
Direct answers to the questions leadership teams ask before committing to AI execution.
The starting point is the use case, not a blanket compliance label. The engagement clarifies role, purpose, data, risk class, access rights, human oversight, logging, retention and escalation. Agent Citara can support governed implementation, but legal compliance remains use-case-specific and should be confirmed with the company's legal and data-protection advisers.
Leaders need an inventory of AI use cases, clear ownership, proportionate governance and sufficient AI literacy for people operating or using AI systems. Article 4's AI-literacy obligation has applied since 2 February 2025. Additional duties depend on role, risk category and context.
Establish a baseline, then measure capacity released, cost avoided and attributable commercial uplift. Subtract implementation, model, integration, governance and change costs. Time savings count as realized value only when capacity is redeployed, demand increases or cost is actually removed. ROI = (realized capacity value + cost avoided + attributable contribution margin − total programme cost) ÷ total programme cost.
Use one business KPI, one workflow KPI, one adoption KPI and one risk guardrail per workflow. If the workflow lacks a credible baseline or owner, it is not ready for an ROI claim.
IT consulting typically concentrates on systems, requirements, integration and delivery. Executive Psychology addresses the leadership conditions that determine whether the system is trusted and used: perceived threat, decision rights, identity, incentives, team dynamics and human oversight. Thorsten's approach joins both disciplines.
No. It is executive sparring and organisational change work focused on business decisions, leadership behaviour, communication, adoption and role design. It does not replace psychotherapy, medical treatment, employment law or works-council consultation.
Bring the CEO or managing director, a compact decision-capable leadership group, top priorities, a simple P&L or management view, three to five workflows with visible friction, current AI use, known data and privacy constraints, and relevant workforce considerations. Perfect data is not required.
Do not build a polished innovation presentation or long tool list. Bring the real process, real friction and the numbers leadership already uses.
The CEO or managing director plus a compact leadership group able to decide across operations, finance, commercial functions, people and technology.
The highest-value opportunities move into process mapping, an agent target picture, ownership, guardrails and a ranked execution plan. Where appropriate, Agent Citara provides the execution layer.
A first working session identifies whether the right next step is AI visibility, an executive workshop, a governed digital-labour workflow, or no project at all.
